Weekend #5: Mud Run!

Get ready for a slew of mud pictures! A group of us signed up for the SB Sheriff 5k MudRun last weekend and it was so much fun! Juan decided last minute that he would do it to... and i'm so glad because he made it so much more fun! Thanks Amy for taking pics and watching Nat! We should get even more people together and do it next year! I especially loved the fireworks and gunshots throughout. Felt like war!!!

Tough girls getting ready to tackle the mud!

We tried to stick together throughout the race so we could harass each other and also help each other. it was nice to have someone with you to help pull you out of the mud when you got stuck!

Why am i so excited to be sloshing through mud?

What an attractive group! Right now we couldn't wait to stand in line for a hose to wash off.

My man. What a trooper- of course he twisted his ankle half way through the race (he always hurts himself!) But he still pushed me on.

Weekend #4: Visitors from Texas

The fun just keeps happening! After the weekend race I had my birthday. Happy Birthday to me! Oh how I love cake.

The weekend following my birthday we went to visit Kelly and Jake in Long Beach. We had a blast visiting with them and of course... eating lots! Here we are at a crepe place close to their hotel.

If I were Jake I'd be mad at me for posting this pic of him but i doubt he'll ever know!! Kelly don't tell him! But doesn't the food look great?

Weekend #3: Race!

Last weekend was such a blast. A bunch of rad girls and myself went down to Del Mar to run the irongirl 5k/10k. I ran the 5k, and my goal was to run the whole thing. No walking! And I did it. Yippie.

The night before we went to eat at Buco Di Beppos and we gorged ourselves on pasta. Afterwards we took the kids swimming and then Juan and I had a wonderful night trying to figure out why Nat was screaming. Luckily the hotel we stayed at was great and no one else in our room heard her crying. Yae for only getting 3 nights of sleep before the race. :) p.s. This wasn't even our whole group. There's at least 3 couples missing!

I love this picture. Can you spot Summer and me? I think there were about 4,000 runners.

Post race. Feeling good. I'm still wearing the medal. Just kidding. But seriously...

Look at these allstars!

Here is the most girls we could get in one place at one time.

After the race we went to the beach at Oceanside harbor and the weather was great. The water was just a bit too cold for me and Nat though. Awesomely I was able to get a sunburn. Juan thought to buy this hat and no sunburn for him.

Weekend #2: Idaho

Two weekends ago Nat and I went to Idaho for my brother's baby blessing. Let me just say that Nat was awesome on the plane rides. Luckily we didn't have anyone sitting next to us on 3 out of the 4 flights. When everyone was standing up to get off the plane I would tell Nat how good she was and everyone around would say "yes she was!" Much appreciated.

Grandma and grandpa took Nat into the pool and she loved splashing and kicking.

Here is my bro and myself with our little girls. Quite cute if I do say so myself.

Here's the H-clan minus Juan and Tim. Super fun weekend- thanks for having us Dan and Rachel! Ellie, welcome to the fam. :)

Weekend #1: ESPNZONE

3 weeks ago a we went with a group of friends to ESPNZone in downtown disney. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the rock climbing going, but it was fun none-the-less. Nat enjoyed being the only kid there- good thing she was good!

Nat is a very good driver! She'll be driving manual in no time.

Here the guys are getting their basketball on. Wasn't it cute that they coordinated their shirts?
